How to Play: The Stand

Uncover the secret Stand of the day in 9 guesses or less!

Your goal is to guess the Stand based on a highly pixelated image. Each guess is either right or wrong, there are no partial matches.

Clue Cards:

On the page, you'll see 4 face-down clue cards. For every 2 wrong guesses, you earn the right to flip one. You can flip them in any order, but the revealed content will always follow this sequence:

  • 1st card: Side of the character or all their appearance attributes.
  • 2nd card: The Part they appear in or all their Stand Types.
  • 3rd card: A slightly less pixelated version of the Stand's image.
  • 4th card: One Ability of the Stand.

All players receive the exact same hint to keep the challenge fair.

Color Hints:

  • Green: Correct Stand.
  • Red: Wrong guess.

Search bar: You can click the User or Stand button in the search bar to switch between the two search modes.

Rewards: When logged in, you earn XP based on how quickly you find the correct Stand:

  • 1 guess → +80 XP
  • 2 guesses → +75 XP
  • 3 guesses → +65 XP
  • 4–5 guesses → +50 XP
  • 6–7 guesses → +35 XP
  • 8–9 guesses → +20 XP
  • 10+ guesses → +10 XP (LOSE)

Winning also unlocks the avatar(s) of the secret Stand!

Note: Connected users try to guess the secret stand of the current day, while disconnected users get the one from the previous day.

Hardmode: Each day, a special hardmode modifier is randomly selected. If you're logged in and at least level 5, you can enable it for an extra challenge and reward, but only before you click Ready or make your first guess.

Close-Range

Stands that stay near their user but may still affect targets from a distance.

e.g. Star Platinum, Emperor

Long-Range

Stands that can operate far from their user or travel long distances to attack directly.

e.g. Hierophant Green, Sex Pistols

Range Irrelevant

Unaffected by distance or state from the user. It can be integrated within them.

e.g. Notorious B.I.G

Materialized

Attaches to material objects and essentially becomes said object which can be seen by even non-Stand users.

e.g. Thoth

Automatic

Acts without direct input from the user.

e.g. Sheer Heart Attack

Psychological Assault

Affects the target’s mind, emotions, or perception.

e.g. Echoes

Sentient

Possesses its own personality and decision-making.

e.g. Spice Girl

Phenomenon

Stands defined primarily by their effect rather than their physical form or combat style.

e.g. Rolling Stones

Colony

Composed of multiple smaller units acting as one Stand.

e.g. Sex Pistols

Reconnaissance

Stands with abilities that help the user gather or detect information (tracking, sensing, surveillance).

e.g. Moody Blues

Foresight

Involves predicting or foreseeing future outcomes.

e.g. King Crimson
